I've just had great fun making these lovely crocheted Russian Dolls.
They took a few days to make because of all the embroidery detail but they were a great way to use up oddments of yarn.
The pattern is by Nicki Trench and is in the magazine Woman's Weekly Knitting and Crochet Special April/May 2011. The pattern also features in Nicki Trench's book Cute and Easy Crochet.
We've named the dolls Ada, Lily, Sally and Nancy. A very colourful and jolly addition to our household.
Those are just so cute. Were they hard? I'd love to try these. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ronda,
ReplyDeleteNo these weren't hard to make. The basic shape for each doll is very easy. The face is just a crocheted disc that is sewn onto the head. The embroidery is only simple stitches and gives the dolls their extra special look.
