We made use of the Bank Holiday yesterday to pop into Liverpool to do some last minute shopping for Eve's up and coming School Leavers Ball. The trip was highly successful and she's all set now for the big event.
Whilst in town, I couldn't resist buying Kim Hargreaves new knitting book, Indigo.
I haven't bought the last three books because they were, frankly, uninspiring and not that original - just old patterns reworked. This book, however, is much better and now I'm spoilt for choice as to what to make next. The plans I had made are now up in the air as I feel quite enthusiastic for some of these new patterns. Here are some of the ones that have caught my eye.

The last one is a classically styled 4 ply tee covered with beads. I think I would give most of the beads a miss - maybe just a row or two to make it special.
I've almost finished the hat I started a few days ago, I've ordered more yarn - to make a sweater for Grace for her birthday, one or two other little projects - and then maybe one of the above beauties.
Ooh Yay I'd forgotten about my seaside yarn!!! Can't wait to see the finished hat x
