I thought I was making good progress on the garden last week. The weather was glorious - Spring had arrived and the sun was shining.
I took some photos of the flowers - whilst they looked good. I'm not a very good gardener so the pictures are cropped and edited to show only the good bits!
The bulbs look wonderful, and the wisteria will be opening soon.
Then, just as I was getting into the swing of things, the weather changed and it went horrible and cold. I don't like to go out when it's cold - I prefer to hibernate - so the garden will have to wait until it warms up. At least we didn't get any snow like some places in the UK.
Thursday was the best day of the week, which worked out well, because we had chosen that day to go to Chester.
We browsed all the charity shops and swooped up some bargains.
For lunch, we picked up some chips and sat in the grounds of the cathedral to eat them.
Chester is such a lovely place - very relaxing - a good day out.
I'm not sure what the weather has in store for us next week - whatever - I'm sure it will be a good week.
It all looks very nice :) x
