Homely - finished

In no time at all it's finished.

What an enjoyable and quick knit this turned out to be. At first, the prospect of knitting with weighty chunky yarn was not thrilling but maybe my wrists have toughened up a bit because once I got going it wasn't s0 bad.

The pattern is Homely by Sarah Hatton from Rowan Studio #14. The pattern calls for Rowan cocoon but I went for the cheaper option of Sirdar denim chunky. I only needed just over 4 balls so it worked out very economical. The yarn was great to knit with.

I'm pleased with the result - it's lovely and cosy but very light to wear. Great for a cool evening in the summer - assuming I ever get to shed my winter coat!
